A new trailer confirms Verdansk returns to Call of Duty: Warzone in April

Although Verdansk's return to Warzone was announced last year during the COD Next event, a release date wasn't given at the time. However, all the rumors have pointed out that the map will return at the start of Season 3.

After weeks (and even months) of speculations, Activision has finally released a trailer confirming the classic map will return on April 3rd, the day Season 3 kicks off in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

It was also released to celebrate Warzone's fifth anniversary, since the first iteration of the Battle Royale title came out on March 10, 2020.

The trailer is a cinematic where we can see all sorts of chaos, from operators landing in the middle of the forest, to helicopters crashing. The cinematic ends with a few operators overlooking the map from one of the castle's towers in Prison.

Even though it doesn't show any gameplay, the trailer confirms the rumors that the stadium's roof will be closed, similar to how it was in the map's original version. However, the same source also mentioned players will be able to go inside.
