Now that we are in the latter parts of the current cycle and with Season 5 of Black Ops 6 now out, the attention is starting to shift towards Black Ops 7. Although we got a teaser not long ago, we are still waiting for the game's reveal.
A release date hasn't been provided, but this should change once the reveal takes place. In the meantime, we can tell you what the leaks are saying about the release schedule for Treyarch's upcoming game.
When does Black Ops 7 come out?
According to leaker TheGhostOfHope on X (formerly Twitter), Black Ops 7 is scheduled to come out on Friday, November 14th, on all platforms.
An upcoming Black Ops 6 and Warzone event with rewards for anyone who pre-orders the new title is set to end on that same day, confirming even further that the release date is already set internally.
This is a rather late release date, but it still fits into the franchise's usual release window, which corresponds to the end of October/beginning of November. If there are no changes, the new title would become the Call of Duty with the latest release date, surpassing Black Ops 2 and Black Ops Cold War, as both titles came out on November 13.
The game is expected to come out for last-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One), current-gen consoles (Xbox Series X|S and PS5), and PC through Steam and the Battle.net launcher.

The teaser gives us a first look at two of the protagonists in the story, David Mason (yes, son of Alex Mason) and Menendez. We still don't know what kind of role Menendez will play in the story, as the character dies in the canonical ending of Black Ops 2.
