Season 6 will kick off in a few hours in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, meaning a new patch is set to drop. The Haunting is back for another year, and the update will add all the Halloween-themed content that comes with it.
While we wait for the patch notes, which list the new content as well as the unseen changes and adjustments, here is all the information we have so far.
When does Black Ops 6 Season 6 come out?
Season 6 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone is scheduled to start on Thursday, October 9, at 9:00 AM PT (6:00 PM BST). An update will add all the new content at that time, and players should be able to preload it before its release.
The season should last around eight weeks, staying active even after Black Ops 7 launches. We expect the season to conclude around December 4, which is probably when Season 1 of the new game will start.
What can we expect from this patch?
The patch notes for Season 6 of Black Ops 6 should go live on the game's official website a few hours before the season begins.
As one of the final major updates, considering that the last one will be the mid-season one, we are expecting to see some weapon balance changes. That has always been present in every major patch during the current cycle.

We can also expect several quality-of-life features or adjustments, as the developers tend to add those even in the final stages of the game before switching to the next premium title.
Other than that, we will have to wait and see what other things this last season has in store for players. Once the complete patch notes are available, we will update this article to add them here, so you can read them entirely.
