Season 5 is approaching, and even though reveals for the next game might be happening soon, there is still content on the way for Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
While we wait for all the Season 5 news from official sources, we have a few details about it, like the start date and some content we already know is coming.
When does Black Ops 6 Season 5 come out?
According to the battle pass timer in-game, Season 5 for Black Ops 6 and Warzone is scheduled to begin on Thursday, August 7th, at 9:00 AM PT (5:00 PM BST).
An update with all the new content will come out on that day, and PC players will be able to preload it one or two days before launch. On the other hand, the preload for console players should begin a few hours before the season drops.
If the format remains the same, the season should last eight weeks, with a midseason patch dropping in the middle to add a second batch of content.
New Zombies map
As confirmed in the latest episode of the COD Podcast, the last Zombies map for Black Ops 6 will come out in Season 5. Thanks to the Shattered Veil ending cinematic, we know this map will take place at the Janus Towers outside of Liberty Falls.
Although no details have been revealed about the story, the map is set to end the Black Ops 6 Zombies storyline.

The map is set to bring another new perk to the mix, and leaker realityuk_ on X (formerly Twitter) believes it could be Widow's Wine or Zombshell. The first perk triggers a cobweb explosion when Zombies touch the player, freezing them for a few seconds.
Zombshell allows players to create a contamination field when killing normal zombies. The field will last for a few seconds and will slow down any zombie that comes in contact with it.
