Following the conclusion of the Six Invitational 2025 and the news regarding Rainbow Six Siege X, fans have got extremely excited about the game's future.
Let's not fool ourselves: the post-event depression is real. After such an intense weekend, fans want more, and more, and more. However, that's not how it works as there won't be any more international action until May 2025, when the 20 teams included in the R6 Share 2025 program face off against in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to take part in Reload.
The ending of a season means the start of another one. With the 2025 esports season officially kicking off in June, fans are already looking forward to the Six Invitational 2026.
While not much has been confirmed about the event, we have got enough information to have a vague idea of how the tournament will look like. Therefore, here's everything we know so far about the Six Invitational 2026!
Dates and location
The Six Invitational 2026 will be played in Paris, France, in February 2026. Unfortunately, it's too early to know the exact dates of the event as well as the tournament's venue.
How will teams qualify for the Six Invitational 2026?

Logically, it's too early to talk about what teams will compete in the Six Invitational 2026. However, BLAST's rulebook for the 2025 Rainbow Six Siege Esports season has given us a good idea of how teams will be able to qualify for the most important tournament of the campaign.
Keeping in mind that the Six Invitational 2026 will include 20 teams, here's how teams will be able to qualify for it:
- BLAST R6 Major November: The winner of the BLAST R6 Major November will automatically qualify for the Six Invitational 2026.
- Regional champions: The champion of each regional league will qualify for the Six Invitational 2026. This includes the winners of the Europe and MENA League, North America League, South America League, and APAC League.
- Global Standings: The best eleven teams on the Global Standings will qualify for the Six Invitational 2026.
- Last Chance Qualifiers: The winner of each Last Chance Qualifier will qualify for the Six Invitational 2026.
It's important to understand how the distribution of these spots could be affected by hypothetical situations that could happen throughout the season, including:
- If the BLAST R6 Major November champion also wins its respective regional league, the team ranked in second place at the Regional Final will qualify to the Six Invitational.
- If the second placed roster at the Regional Final has qualified through Six Invitational Points, the next team in the Global SI Points System with the most SI Points will qualify for the Six Invitational.
Here's the exact paragraph regarding this situation, explained in BLAST's official rulebook for the 2025 Rainbow Six Siege Esports season (Page 5, 2.3.1.3.):
In the event where the winner of a Regional Final is also the BLAST R6 Major champion, then the Team ranking second at that Regional Final will qualify to the Six Invitational. In the event where the second placed Team in the Regional Final is also already qualified to the Six Invitational through SI Points, then the Team in the Global SI Points System with the most SI Points will qualify to the Six Invitational.
In other words, if the team that wins the BLAST R6 Major November also wins a Regional Final, the regional spot would be given to the second-placed team in the region. If that team has already qualified for the Six Invitational 2026 through the Global Standings, the spot is given to the "team in the Global SI Points System with the most SI Points" which would be the first seed outside the Top 11; logically, the 12th seed.
