
Wildcard have qualified for Rainbow Six Siege's Esports World Cup 2026 after a tough 2-1 victory against the BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City champions DarkZero Esports.

Wildcard kicked off the series with a maximum overtime win on Consulate, which was followed by a 7-2 win for DarkZero Esports on Chalet. Finally, Wildcard secured the win after a 7-5 game on Nighthaven Labs. With a SiegeGG rating of 1.17, Wildcard's Evan "Kanzen" Bushore was the best player of the game.
This is Wildcard's first qualification for a Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026 after missing out on the editions played in 2024 and 2025. The American-majority roster has improved its consistency in North America, constantly qualifying for international events in the last two years. In fact, the team has proven to perform even better at international events, qualifying to all final stages including RE:L0:AD, the BLAST R6 Major Munich and BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City, as well as the Six Invitational 2026.
DarkZero Esports' defeat means the purple roster will have to play against For Fun Esports for a chance to secure the region's last available EWC 2026 spot. Before them, 100 Thieves and Shopify Rebellion will face off in a game where the winner will also qualify for Paris.
