BNK FEARX have announced the signings of Kim "JLT" Sang-woo and Zachary "Nyx" Thomas. The former Dplus KIA and PSG Talon player has joined the starting lineup replacing Hong "Misa" Sang-yeong, whose departure was unveiled earlier today.
Meanwhile, the former SK Gaming, DarkZero Esports and Team Reciprocity player has joined BNK FEARX as the team's new coach. As a staff member, the American has already been part of DarkZero Esports, Mirage, and Unwanted.
Nyx joining the South Korean esports team is a shocking move. However, he's not the first imported coach to the team as BNK FEARX had worked with César "Dark" Adriano in the past. With the Brazilian coach, the team had qualified for various international events. Eventually, the Six Sweden Major champion signed for Virtus.pro as the team's new head coach before the beginning of Year 11.
Ahead of Stage 2, the APAC North region will include a bunch of imported coaches, including CAG by VARREL's Giovanny "Sparky" Mangiarotti and Dplus KIA's Luiggi "Hellraiser" Ianelli. In the past we have also seen Fabian "Fabian" Hällsten or Jonathan "Jok3r" Paarsch, who had been PSG Talon's coaches.
The BLAST R6 APAC North 2026 Stage 2 will kick off on September 5, 2026. BNK FEARX's debut will be against KINOTROPE gaming in the second game of the day.
