Keep on reading to know more about tomorrow's matches:
Team Liquid vs. Team Joel
Team Liquid and Team Joel will meet for the first time since the Brazilian’s 2-0 victory against the former Bleed Esports roster at the BLAST R6 Major Manchester. Curiously enough, both rosters also shared a group at the Six Invitational 2024; back then, fell against the Asian squad.
Given Team Joel’s orgless status, the team’s decision to bring in Adam “nudl” Hryceniak to replace Taylor “Terdsta” Ching, and the additions of Lucas “korey” Zwingmann and Liu “Nado” Zhenyu to strengthen the roster’s coaching team, it’s hard to say where Team Joel currently stand in.
Meanwhile, Team Liquid’s season has been quite consistent in terms of results as they qualified for every international competition, with the roster’s best result being a Top 4 finish at the Esports World Cup 2024.
Team Falcons vs. PSG Talon
Although this will be Group C’s first match, the clash between Team Falcons and PSG Talon could have a huge impact on the final shape of the standings.
It’s fair to say both team’s seasons were complete opposites: while the South Koreans excelled in the first half of the season with a splendid performance at the BLAST R6 Major Manchester, the MENA League roster qualified for the Six Invitational 2025 after reaching Montreal’s quarterfinals – where they lost against Virtus.pro after back-to-back overtime defeats.
While Team Falcons had better performances recently, Fabian “Fabian” Hällsten’s roster has had enough time to find the team’s flaws to correct them before the Six Invitational 2025. All in all, this game will allow fans to have the right idea of where exactly these two teams stand and what their chances are to reach the tournament’s finals.
M80 vs. G2 Esports
M80’s new signings Shaun “Gunnar” Pottorff, Aydan “dfuzr” Gabari, and Jaidan “Packer” Franz will make their debuts under the green organization against G2 Esports. Meanwhile, the European’s new assistant coach Gabriel “cameram4n” Hespanhol will make his international debut for the samurai against his former team.
While Group A isn’t the group of death, it’s hard to name a clear favorite to take the first seed. Looking at M80, the team has only had around two months to practice with the three new players, while G2 Esports comes from a very inconsistent season with multiple roster, staff, and in-game changes. Just like the clash between Team Falcons and PSG Talon, this game should give viewers a more precise idea of what are these two sides’ chances of lifting the hammer in Boston.
RazaH Company vs. DarkZero Esports
RazaH Company’s first match at the Six Invitational 2025 will be the Brazilians’ first chance to show they have what it takes to potentially upset the two favorites to take Group C’s first seed, Team BDS and DarkZero Esports.
The former E1 Sports roster has had a season full of ups and downs. After the team’s winless run at the BLAST R6 Major Manchester, the roster had to undergo multiple player and staff changes. Shortly after missing out on the BLAST R6 Major Montreal, E1 Sports parted ways with the roster – and that’s when the name RazaH Company appeared. As an orgless team, the players want to represent the Brazilian community using what links the casual with the competitive scene in the region: the popular streamer Rafael “RazaH” Ribeiro.
Regarding DarkZero Esports, the game against the Brazilians will be a special one as, for the first time since May 2021, the team’s coach won’t be Kyle “Mint” Lander – instead, the Americans signed Into The Breach’s former coach Ryan “KangruKenny” Morrow.
Spacestation Gaming vs. Virtus.pro
Spacestation Gaming and Virtus.pro will clash for the second time this season as the last time they met ended in a 7-5 victory for the Russians.
The Bears head to the Six Invitational 2025 as one of the big favorites to lift the hammer given the team’s Top 4 finish in Montreal and the players’ overall results at the Six Invitational 2024, with Danil “JoyStiCK” Gabov, Artur “ShepparD” Ipatov, and Danila “dan” Dontsov having played at least one Six Invitational grand final. Additionally, the Europeans finished in third place at the Six Invitational 2024 as they were knocked out by the eventual champions, w7m esports, after a maximum overtime on the final map of the series.
It’s also worth mentioning that, since the Six Invitational 2021, the Russians have always topped the standings of their group – including the Six Invitational 2021, the Six Invitational 2022, and the Six Invitational 2024. If that wasn’t enough, Virtus.pro haven’t lost a single match against North American rosters as their current record includes four victories and zero defeats. Therefore, it’s fair to say the Russians are the favorites to take the win against the astronauts.
Shopify Rebellion vs. FaZe Clan
Shopify Rebellion will make its Rainbow Six Siege debut at the Six Invitational 2025 against FaZe Clan. The American esports organization picked up the former Soniqs roster after the conclusion of the BLAST R6 Major Montreal, shortly after Soniqs decided to release the lineup.
Curiously enough, the last time both teams met was at the BLAST R6 Major Montreal, when the Brazilians defeated Soniqs after a 2-0 win in the quarterfinals. Since then, FaZe Clan was knocked out in the semifinals and won the BR Premier Finals 2024 after a 2-1 victory against FURIA Esports.
All in all, the Six Invitational 2024 grand finalists are the favorites to not just win against Shopify Rebellion but also to take Group B’s first seed. However, a good start against Shopify Rebellion is required; a defeat could make things spicier in the group of death.
w7m esports vs. Oxygen Esports
Two years after the team’s third-place finish at the Six Invitational 2023, Oxygen Esports are back to Rainbow Six Siege’s biggest tournament of the year. Curiously enough, Oxygen Esports’ last international match to date was against w7m esports at the Gamers8 2023.
The North American lineup qualified for the Six Invitational 2025 after winning the regional qualifiers and, unfortunately for them, they will make their debut against the BLAST R6 Major Montreal champions, w7m esports. Therefore, the Bulls are the clear favorites to win this match; however, anything is possible when playing on home soil.
CAG Osaka vs. FURIA Esports
The current world champions, FURIA Esports, will make their debut at the Six Invitational 2025 against CAG Osaka, who are the favorites to finish at the bottom of the standings of Group D.
The Brazilians come to the Six Invitational 2025 after missing out on the BLAST R6 Major Montreal, the first international tournament they couldn’t qualify for since avoiding relegation in the 2022 season. Meanwhile, the Japanese qualified for the event after taking APAC’s final spot at the Six Invitational 2025 APAC Finals.
Overall, the Cyclops are the favorites to take Group D’s last seed given the size and experience of their opponents, as they won’t only face the current world champions but also the Six Invitational 2024 grand finalists FaZe Clan, the back-to-back BLAST R6 Major quarterfinalists Team Secret, and the former Soniqs lineup, Shopify Rebellion. Anything but a Brazilian victory in this game would be a big upset.
