It's time for a new Rainbow Six Siege season. On September 1, 2026, Ubisoft is expected to undergo the necessary maintenance to deploy Operation Split Fire, which will be Rainbow Six Siege's third season for Year 11. The new season is known as Operation Split Fire.
Operation Split Fire brings Noor to Rainbow Six Siege. Noor will be an Egyptian defender that will cause troubles to the attackers as he will be the first direct shield counter in the game. His loadout is a very interesting one too as Noor will have access to Maestro's LMG. All in all, he's expected to be an aggressive but situational operator.
Shortly after his release, content creators from all around the globe brought up his anti-hard breaching potential. Professional players and coaches quickly spoke up about how broken Noor felt. Eventually, Ubisoft revealed that the gadget's efficiency against hard breaching devices wasn't intended.
Operation Split Fire also brings operator balancing changes, a Villa basement rework, and the Legends Division, as well as some security improvements. In short, Operation Split Fire brings brand-new content, but primarily focuses on improving the overall quality of the game. Some players will think the season lacks content, but, at the end of the day, this is a much-needed patch.

Operation Split Fire will last for approximately three months. The final season of Year 11 will be revealed at the BLAST R6 Major Osaka, which will be played between November 7 and November 15. It will be the first Rainbow Six Siege international event held in Asia since the PL Season 10 Finals held in Tokoname, Japan.
