The Chinese powerhouse JDG Esports have announced the organization's decision to join Rainbow Six Siege's esports scene. While the team's lineup hasn't been unveiled as of yet, the brand made the move official in an introductory video ahead of the Esports World Cup 2025.

The video, which has been attached above this paragraph, includes all of JDG Esports' teams for the 2025 season — with Rainbow Six Siege being mentioned at minute 1:13.

Considering the Esports World Cup economic impact to the whole esports scene, more and more brands are hopping on the trend of investing in the competition's different disciplines.

With JDG Esports being one of the 40 organizations included in the Esports World Cup 2025 Club Partner Program, combined with the license approvals of Rainbow Six Siege and Rainbow Six Mobile in China on August 1, 2024, it makes sense to see the Chinese powerhouse investing in Ubisoft's shooter.

JDG Esports isn't the first Chinese esports organization to join Rainbow Six Siege's esports scene. One month ago, Weibo Gaming picked up the majority of Team Joel's roster. The roster was completed with the return of Taylor "Terdsta" Ching and the signing of the Six Berlin Major champion Matthew "meepeY" Sharples as the team's coach.

So far, the esports organization hasn't unveiled any information regarding the team's players. However, to know more about JDG Esports' future in Rainbow Six Siege scene as well as Rainbow Six Siege X, don't forget to bookmark the site and follow us through our social media pages.
