
On March 13, in a special event in Atlanta, Georgia, Ubisoft finally revealed the next chapter of Rainbow Six Siege: Rainbow Six Siege X.
While the current season Operation Prep Phase kicked off on March 4, all the players' eyes are already set on Rainbow Six Siege's Year 10 Season 2. However, although the upcoming season has already been revealed, Rainbow Six Siege's players have many unanswered questions.
Here's everything you need to know about when the next Rainbow Six Siege season will be deployed, as well as when Rainbow Six Siege X is coming to the game:
Rainbow Six Siege X release date
During the Rainbow Six Siege X Showcase, Ubisoft unveiled that Rainbow Six Siege X will be released on June 10, 2025.
On May 17, 2025, Ubisoft revealed the first-ever Rainbow Six Siege X season will be called Operation Daybreak. Among the changes revealed in Atlanta, Ubisoft will also release a Clash rework as players will be able to deploy her shield and trigger its electricity from a distance.
When will Ubisoft reveal Rainbow Six Siege Year 10 Roadmap?
Rainbow Six Siege X Year 10 Roadmap will be unveiled on May 18, at 2 PM EDT. There, Ubisoft will unveil the next steps of the game, at least until March 2026, when Year 11 is expected to kick off.
With the announcement of Year 10 Roadmap and what's coming to the game, fans will finally now Ubisoft's future plans as well as the most immediate ones as information about Year 10 Season 2 and Rainbow Six Siege X will be revealed.
What's coming in Rainbow Six Siege X?
Rainbow Six Siege X is the game's most transforming update ever. The team has worked in Rainbow Six Siege X for the last few years and the changes will revolutionize the game while also reinforcing the idea of Siege. Remember, this isn't a new game; Rainbow Six Siege X is a major update.

Ubisoft is bringing Rainbow Six Siege's first-ever 6v6 game mode, Dual Front. In this game mode, players will be able to combine attackers and defenders as the team to secure more map control will win the match.
While Dual Front initially stole the show during the Rainbow Six Siege X Showcase, Ubisoft has mainly focused on the 5v5 experience as the team will introduce map overhauls, a new rapelling animation, first person shadows, destructible items, and many more.
If tweaks to the player's in-game experience weren't enough, Ubisoft has also made changes in terms of how the menu is displayed, as well as how the operator map ban phase works.

Siege X Pack

To celebrate the reveal of Rainbow Six Siege X, Ubisoft added the Siege X Pack to the Ubisoft Connect store. This bundle is worth USD$39,99 and includes the following items:
- Legendary animated skin for Thermite and Osa's 556XI Assault Rifle
- 2,670 R6 Credits
- Siege X Operator Badge
- 12 Operators
Additionally, players who purchase the Siege X Pack will be given an exclusive Ash Bundle when Rainbow Six Siege X is deployed on June 10, 2025.
Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta
Although Rainbow Six Siege X won't be fully launched until June 10, 2025, players have already had the chance to enjoy some of what's to come to the game with the Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta. After opening on March 13, players were able to try out Dual Front for the first time until March 19.
To unlock the Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta, players had to watch the Rainbow Six Siege X Showcase or watch 30 minutes of a selected Rainbow Six Siege Twitch stream.
Unfortunately, it's too early to know when the next chance to play Rainbow Six Siege X will come.
