If you're a Capcom and Fortnite fan, this may be your lucky day. The Japanese company is one of the many developers that have partnered with Epic to bring some of their most iconic characters to Fortnite. Sadly, the skins rarely show up in the Item Shop, if at all.
However, recent rumors of a Devil May Cry collaboration could bring back previous Capcom bundles, which feature characters from Street Fighter and Resident Evil.
With that said, here's what we know about the potential return of both Street Fighter and Resident Evil skins to Fortnite.
Are Street Fighter and Resident Evil skins coming back to Fortnite?
As of the time of writing, we have no proper information about either collection making a return.
Chun-Li and Ryu were the first Capcom skins added back in 2021
It's highly possible that if a Devil May Cry x Fortnite crossover materializes, we can see a whole Capcom takeover of the Item Shop.
If you're a Street Fighter fan, you're probably disappointed to hear that none of the skins have been seen in the shop since August 2022.
The fact that Epic and Capcom didn't partner once more to promote the launch of Street Fighter 6 in June 2023 could be a telling sign that we might not see the skins ever again.
On the other hand, both companies did work together to cross-promote the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake in March 2023. Both Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield were added to the game as part of the Raccoon City Survivors set, with Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield making a return to the shop during that timeframe.
And that's all we know about the current situation with both Street Fighter and Resident Evil skins in Fortnite. As soon as more information drops, we'll be updating the article accordingly.
