After leaks suggested the Toho monster would be a part of Fortnite when artwork for Chapter 6 Season 1 surfaced online, Epic officially shared the image. Naming the season "Hunters," it's heavily inspired by Japanese culture, making Godzilla a suitable representative.
The map is filled with unique POIs that merge futuristic vibes with classical Japanese architecture, similar to what players experienced during Chapter 4 Season 2. A perfect playground to wreak havoc with Godzilla.

Yes, Godzilla is a skin in Fortnite
If you're new to the game, that means Godzilla has released with unique quests you'll have to complete to obtain the skin and other cosmetics, independent of the regular battle pass tier rewards that require you to grind XP.
The only downside is that you'll have to wait until January 17 for the rewards to unlock. Still, some quests are already available. It's unclear if they'll count towards progress for the Godzilla rewards or if they only grant XP. We'll have to wait a few days to find out.
