9z Team have revealed the organization's squad that will compete in the South America League 2025. With three Argentinian players in the lineup, 9z Team's roster is the first Argentinian-majority squad to compete in South America's Rainbow Six Siege top flight.
The team's Argentinian core will include the two former Vasco eSports players Emiliano "Nitro" Garay and Jeronimo "Tucu" Vallejo, as well as the former ALPHA Team player Nazareno "Naza" Ghione.
Both Tucu and Nitro have been part of LATAM's Tier 2 and Tier 1 circuit for the last three years. However, the most experienced of the two is Tucu, as he has already competed internationally — at the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta for Knights.
Meanwhile, it's also worth mentioning that Naza won the LATAM League 2024 Stage 2 for ALPHA Team as he joined the team to compete in the region's stage finals. However, due to visa issues, Naza wasn't able to travel to Montreal, Canada, to compete at the BLAST R6 Major Montreal.
Finally, the roster will include the Brazilian players Willian "WiLL" Rodrigues and Jonathas "Jow" Pinto. While WiLL has already played in South America's top flight as he played for Elevate in the first half of the Pro League Season 11, Jow will make his debut after three years in Brazil's Tier 3 and Tier 2.
On Saturday, June 14, 9z Team will make their South America League 2025 Stage 1 debut as they will play against LOUD.
9z Team's Rainbow Six Siege roster for the 2025 season includes:
- Nazareno "Naza" Ghione
- Emiliano "Nitro" Garay
- Jeronimo "Tucu" Vallejo
- Willian "WiLL" Rodrigues
- Jow
- Caio "AKcg" Suyama (Head Coach)
- Abridex (Assistant Coach)
- Enoa (Analyst)
