Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 has arrived, giving fans newcomer Ultron and a bevy of unlockables they can play or buy. Fans of the free-to-play superhero shooter were given a preview of the mid-season update, showing off some new skins. Players were immediately drawn to the Future Foundation skins that will be coming soon.
So far, three of these skins have been revealed. Now that Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, and The Thing have their skims, everyone's waiting for Spider-Man. For now, here’s everything we know about the Marvel Rivals Future Foundation skins and how to unlock them.
Who gets new Marvel Rivals skins?
The previews for Season 2.5 have confirmed that Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing, and Spider-Man are getting new skins.
All four characters are getting sleek white costumes that will freshen up their standard looks in this superhero shooter. With the new Fantastic Four film coming out in a few months, these outfits should get plenty of attention.
A couple of fans were bothered that Human Torch didn’t get a new Future Foundation skin. However, fans of the comics know that he was originally “dead” when this storyline debuted, so his exclusion makes some sense. Knowing Marvel Rivals, he can always get a new costume later.
When are Marvel Rivals Future Foundation skins being released?
Fans can already unlock Mr. Fantastic’s Future Foundation skin in Marvel Rivals 2.5. His costume is one of the free unlockables in the Combat Chest, which acts as a mini-Season Pass. Free players have the whole month to unlock it, while paid users will have all the time they need.
Invisible Woman and The Thing will be getting their skins on June 12 at 2:00 HTC. Fans should be able to get these two skins as a bundle, though there's hope that they will also be priced individually. Now fans are just waiting for Spidey's Future Foundation skin.
What's the price for the Marvel Rivals Future Foundation skins?
Rivals fans can unlock Mr. Fantastic’s skin for free by participating in the Combat Chest. They can also pay 690 Lattice, which removes the time limit for all rewards in this Battle Pass. So, this skin can technically be free, if players are fast enough.
The recently announced the bundles for Invisible Woman and Thing don't have prices yet. Based on recent bundles, we imagine that this will cost around 2,800 to 3,200 Lattice. Individually, they should cost around 1,600 or 1,800 currency each.
Spider-Man's skin hasn't been officially announced yet, but we're sure NetEase Games will get around to that soon.
