New map: Arakko
The mid-season also brings a new map called Arakko, the sister island of Krakoa. This is a Convoy map, and you can take a look at most of its areas in the following trailer:
As you can see, Ultron is in full control of this area, with sculptures and structures based on the villain present in several areas, and we can even find an assembly factory for its minions.
New mode: Ultron's Battle Matrix Protocol
A new experimental mode called Ultron's Battle Matrix Protocol is also coming to the game. Players will have to assemble a team of six characters to face other players' lineups in what looks like a chessboard.
The mode will allow users to create unique builds and enhance certain traits through a shop system.
As you can see and probably already thought, this game mode looks heavily inspired by Teamfight Tactics, the companion strategy game for League of Legends.
The mode will go live on Friday, June 6th, exactly a week after Season 2.5 kicks off, and it's unclear at the moment if it will remain permanently available after that.

- A new feature called Moods and Emojis will let players equip an emoji out of the ones available for it to appear on the nameplate, career profile, and friends list.
