After yesterday's results in the Europe League 2024, the teams are headed to the second match day of the season. Here's everything you need to know about it!
ENCE vs. WYLDE
ENCE and WYLDE will meet in the first match of the Europe League 2024 Stage 1 Day 2 after losing their respective games yesterday.
The Finn organization made its debut in BLAST's esports circuit with a harsh 2-7 debut against Team Secret where the French-majority squad conceded three clutches. Meanwhile, Usain Bolt's organization lost against Team BDS.
It will be a special match for Juhani "Kantoraketti" Toivonen, as the former ENCE player won the PL Year 2 Season 3 Finals with the Finn organization in Nov. 2017.
Virtus.pro vs. Wolves Esports
The Russian powerhouse is back in action, with the team's last official match being at the Six Invitational 2024 Lower Bracket Finals.
Wolves Esports kicked off the season with a 7-5 defeat against Into the Breach despite the Frenchmen headed to the second half of the game with a comfortable 5-1 lead.
Both teams faced five times in Year 8, with Virtus.pro winning three and Wolves Esports two. However, the Frenchmen's victories came at off-season tournaments, while the Russians' wins came in the Europe League or at one of the two BLAST R6 Majors played last year.
Team BDS vs. G2 Esports
Only ten days after both sides clashed in the Malta Cyber Series VII Team BDS and G2 Esports will meet in the Europe League 2024 for the first time.
Despite missing out on the Six Invitational 2024, the French-majority roster heads to its second game of the season as the favorite to take the three points. It will be another good chance to see how Fatih "Soloto" Türker and Josh "Yuzus" Pritchard are adapting to Team BDS, whose players have recently moved from French to English in-game communication.
Fnatic vs. Into the Breach
The second match day of the Europe League 2024 will conclude with the game between Fnatic and Into the Breach.
Yesterday, Fnatic's debut in the Europe League 2024 ended in tears as the orange brand lost to G2 Esports after reaching maximum overtime. The roster led by Leon "LeonGids" Giddens got a point from the game after Luke "Tyrant" Casey's clutch on round twelve, which temporarily kept Fnatic's winning hopes alive.
Their opponent will be Into the Breach, who upset the Six Invitational 2024-bound Wolves Esports on Consulate. The last time the former KOI core played against Into the Breach, the Knights took a 7-5 win. Will the result be the same one today?
