With the conclusion of the first stage of the BLST R6 2025 Season we now have a rock-solid idea of what teams should be seen as favorites to qualify for the Six Invitational 2026 through the Global Standings.
After four seasons where the Global Standings format only suffered a handful of tweaks, the road to qualify for Paris will be slightly different compared to previous campaigns as only eleven teams will qualify for the Six Invitational 2026 through these standings.
As this year's Six Invitational qualification system is a bit more complex, here's a reminder of how it works and how the Global Standings currently look like:
How can teams qualify for the Six Invitational 2026?
The easiest way to qualify for the Six Invitational 2026 is by finishing among the best eleven teams on the Global Standings. However, teams can also qualify for Paris by winning the BLAST R6 Major Munich, by becoming regional champions, or by winning their respective regional Last Chance Qualifier.

To climb up the Global Standings, teams must earn Six Invitational Points. These are awarded to the best five teams from each regional stage, as follows:
- 1st: 300 SI Points
- 2nd: 150 SI Points
- 3rd to 5th: 50 SI Points
Teams that qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Munich will also be awarded with Six Invitational Points. These are awarded to all teams except the winner, which automatically qualifies for the Six Invitational 2026. Here's how the Six Invitational Points will be distributed in Munich:
- 2nd: 1,200 SI Points
- 3rd and 4th: 600 SI Points
- 5th to 8th: 300 SI Points
- 9th to 11th: 150 SI Points
- 12th to 14th: 100 SI Points
- 15th to 16th: 50 SI Points
The last chance for teams to earn Six Invitational Points will be in their respective regional finals. The winner will automatically qualify for the Six Invitational 2026, while the rest of rosters, except for the sixth, will be awarded with Six Invitational Points. This is how the points will be awarded to the contestants:
- 2nd: 700 SI Points
- 3rd: 400 SI Points
- 4th: 100 SI Points
- 5th: 50 SI points
Teams that don't finish among the eleven best teams on the Global Standings and that haven't won the BLAST R6 Major Munich or their respective regional finals will have to play in their respective Last Chance Qualifier to fight for their region's last Six Invitational 2026 spot.
Logically, the BLAST R6 Major Munich champion could also end up winning their respective regional final. If that's the case, here's what would happen according to BLAST's rulebook:
Six Invitational 2026 Global Standings

Here's how the Six Invitational 2026 Global Standings currently look like following the conclusion of the first stage:
(Q): Qualified for the Six Invitational 2026 through the Global Standings
(X): Can't qualify for the Six Invitational 2026 through the Global Standings
(QM): Qualified for the Six Invitational 2026 after winning the BLAST R6 Major Munich
What teams have won the Six Invitational?
The Six Invitational has been played ten times — nine on PC and one on XBOX. So far, the tournament has been won by nine different teams. Keep on reading to know more about them:
G2 Esports
G2 Esports is possibly the biggest esports organization in Rainbow Six Siege X's scene. The team has been a pioneer in multiple fields. So far, the Berlin-based organization is the only team to have won the Six Invitational twice. Other championships in the team's trophy cabinet are the Six Paris Major, the Pro League Finals Season 8, as well as Minor and regional competitions.
G2 Esports has had some of the best players in the history of the game. From the team's early days to now, some of the most notable names are the three-time world champion Fabian "Fabian" Hällsten, the two-time world champion Niclas "Pengu" Mouritzen, the Six Invitational 2019 and Six Berlin Major champion Juhani "Kantoraketti" Toivonen, the Six Invitational 2023 and Six Mexico Major champion Karl "Alem4o" Zarth, or the Pro League Season 10 Finals and Six Invitational 2023 winner, Jack "Doki" Robertson.
FaZe Clan
FaZe Clan are the current world champions as they won the Six Invitational 2025. After surviving the group of death, the team was pushed to the Lower Bracket after a 0-2 defeat against Spacestation Gaming. Following their loss against the astronauts, the Brazilians completed one of the best ever Lower Bracket runs as they took down Team Liquid, Virtus.pro, Team Falcons, Spacestation, Unwanted, FURIA Esports, and Team BDS to lift the hammer under the lights of Boston.
w7m esports
The Bulls' 2023 campaign is arguably the best by any Rainbow Six Siege team. Before the start of the Six Invitational 2024, the Brazilians had won back-to-back BLAST R6 Majors in Copenhagen and Atlanta. In Brazil, the Bulls lifted the hammer in their Last Dance for w7m esports after an outstanding comeback against FaZe Clan in the tournament's grand final. A few weeks later, the roster joined FURIA Esports.
TSM
Although TSM left the Rainbow Six Siege competitive scene over two years ago, the American esports organization is still one of the best teams in the history of the Six Invitational as, between 2020, 2021, and 2022, they never finished outside the competition's Top 4. In 2020 and in 2021, the Americans finished in third and fourth, respectively. In 2022, after qualifying through the Last Chance Qualifier, TSM became world champions after taking down Team Empire in the grand finals.
Ninjas in Pyjamas
Nowadays we're used to seeing Brazilian teams making deep international runs. However, five years ago, that wasn't the case — until the Six Invitational 2021. The Brazilians teams did outstandingly well in Paris, France, as the grand final included two teams from the American country. Finally, Ninjas in Pyjamas won the Six Invitational 2021 to redeem themselves from their defeat against Spacestation Gaming in February 2020.
Spacestation Gaming
Spacestation Gaming won the Six Invitational 2020 and became the first North American team to lift the hammer since Continuum did so in 2017. Just like back then, Troy "Canadian" Jaroslawski was part of the winning roster. The astronauts managed to lift the hammer after a thrilling victory against Ninjas in Pyjamas.
PENTA
Remembered as one of the best teams to ever have played the game, PENTA became world champions after winning the Six Invitational 2018 against Evil Geniuses in one of the best matches of Rainbow Six Siege ever. Eventually, the roster would be picked up by G2 Esports, and would win the Six Major Paris.
Continuum
Continuum became the first PC world champions in Rainbow Six Siege as they won the Six Invitational 2017. Later on, the team would be picked by Evil Geniuses, and would reach the Six Invitational 2018 grand finals. The most notable player from that Continuum roster is Troy "Canadian" Jaroslawski, who's still active. The Canadian player also won the Six Invitational in 2020 for Spacestation Gaming.
Elevate
Unfortunately, people tend to forget about Elevate when talking about the history of the Six Invitational. However, they will go down the Siege history books as, possibly, the only console team to win a Six Invitational. After a 2-0 victory against Team Vitality in the tournament's grand final, Elevate became world champions.
It's important to remember that both teams included some players that would become consistent professional players in the PC scene, like Dylan "Bosco" Bosco, Alexander "Skys" Magor, Gabriel "LaXInG" Mirélez, or Arnaud "BiOs" Billaudel.
