Want to know when Destiny 2 Episode: Heresy ends? You'll be surprised to hear that, at least at the time of writing, there's still plenty of time.

Exciting times are ahead for Bungie fans. Whether you're sticking around in Destiny 2 or trying out the new extraction shooter, Marathon, there'll be plenty of content coming in the next few months.

For Destiny 2 fans, it's all about Codename: Frontiers and the two new expansions set to come out with The Edge of Fate (formerly known as Codename: Apollo) being first out of the gate.

So, with that said, when does Destiny 2 Episode: Heresy end?

Destiny 2 Episode: Heresy end date

Episode: Heresy in Destiny 2 will end on July 15. It will be the longest episode and one of the longest "seasons" in Destiny 2 history.

Episode: Heresy will be a long one

Each episode was divided into three acts. Act 1 of Heresy began on February 4, Act 2 started on March 11, and Act 3 commenced on April 1.

It'll take over six months before Episode: Heresy ends and the Destiny 2 community transitions into The Edge of Fate. In the meantime, Bungie will prepare a big content drop to keep players busy in the form of Rite of the Nine.

Rite of the Nine will be an event similar to Pantheon but rather than focusing on raid encounters, it'll be centred around dungeons this time around.

When Pantheon dropped, it came with the Into the Light content updated, which introduced plenty of PvE modes and some iconic weapons finally making their return from D1 into D2, so fans are hoping for something similar this time around as well.

If you were worried about not having enough time to grind for everything Episode: Heresy has to offer in terms of weapons and activities, well, now you know that there's still a couple of months to wrap your season pass and everything else you have in mind.
