Riot Games has announced today that Valorant's Game Changers EMEA Stage 3 Grand Finals will take place in Istanbul, Türkiye.

The venue chosen to host the game has been the ESA Arena, which was already used to host last year's Valorant Game Changers EMEA Stage 3 Grand Finals. Back then, G2 Gozen took down GIANTX GC after a 3-1 victory.

The Valorant Game Changer EMEA Stage 3 will include the ten best teams in the region and it will be the players' last chance to secure EMEA Points. By the conclusion of the stage, the three teams in the region with the most EMEA Points will represent the EMEA region at the Valorant Championship 2025.

In Stage 1, EMEA's favorites G2 Gozen couldn't reach the Grand Finals after back-to-back defeats against Karmine Corp GC and GIATNX GC. It was then when the roster decided to bench Petra "Petra" Stoker and sign Esllene "Akita" Xu, who joined the samurai from ZERANCE MINT. Additionally, G2 Gozen signed the former Sentinels, M80, and XSET coach Drew "DrewSpark" Spark-Whitworth. The British joined to replace Kaan "Leader" Taşpınar, who recently joined LOUD.

Surprisingly enough, after finishing the group stage with a 9-0 record, G2 Gozen finished in fourth place of Stage 2 after back-to-back defeats against Karmine Corp GC and SK Nebula. Eventually, Stage 2's Grand Final ended up being a rematch of last stage's grand final between Karmine Corp and GIANTX GC.

Finally, with Stage 3 beginning later this year, the teams will face off against in a single-round robin group stage in which the best six teams will qualify for the playoffs. The group stage will kick off on September 30 and will conclude on October 25. Finally, the Grand Finals will be played on November 2 in Istanbul, at the previously mentioned ESA Arena.
