Following the conclusion of the Valorant Masters Toronto, which saw Paper Rex becoming international champions after a 3-1 victory against Fnatic, it's now time to think about the scene's upcoming international championship: the Valorant Esports World Cup 2025.
Including 16 teams, the rosters have been split into four groups of four squads each. The best two lineups from each group will move to the playoffs, where the teams will face off for a chance to win the ultimate prize: USD$500,000 and 1,000 Club Points.
With the Valorant Esports World Cup 2025 being played from July 8 to July 13, here's a look at all of the Valorant Esports World Cup 2025 groups and the teams included:
Group A

Here are the teams that shape Valorant's Esports World Cup 2025 Group A:
- G2 Esports (Americas)
- Bilibili Gaming (China)
- Paper Rex (Pacific)
- Karmine Corp (EMEA)
The Valorant Esports World Cup 2025 Group A is arguably one of the contenders to be labeled as the group of death as it includes two Top 4 Valorant Masters Toronto sides in Paper Rex and G2 Esports. While the Pacific side ended up winning the tournament after a 3-1 victory against Fnatic, the Valorant Masters Bangkok grand finalists finished in fourth place.
The group also includes another Valorant Masters Toronto-bound in Bilibili Gaming, as the Chinese side was sent home early in the competition after finishing the play-in stage with a 1-2 record, which included a victory against Team Liquid but defeats against Sentinels and Wolves Esports.
Finally, Karmine Corp closes Group A as the EMEA League roster made it to the tournament through the region's qualifier. The French powerhouse qualified after victories against FUT Esports and Team Liquid.
Group B

Here are the teams that shape Valorant's Esports World Cup 2025 Group B:
- XLG Esports (China)
- Sentinels (Americas)
- BBL Esports (EMEA)
- DRX (Pacific)
Despite qualifying for Group B as a regional second-seed roster, Sentinels are the favorites to take the group's top seed. The American roster comes finished in second place at the VCT 2025 Americas Stage 1 and collected a Top 6 finish at the Valorant Masters Toronto.
Curiously enough, in Toronto, the Americans beat XLG Esports in their first playoff match after back-to-back 13-6 wins on Sunset and Lotus. Both teams will cross paths again in Riyadh if they win their respective matches against BBL Esports and DRX.
The European mix qualified for the Esports World Cup 2025 after victories against Karmine Corp and Team Liquid in EMEA's qualifier. Meanwhile, DRX clinched a spot after victories against BOOM Esports, Team Secret, and Global Esports.
Group C

Here are the teams that shape Valorant's Esports World Cup 2025 Group C:
- Rex Regum Qeon (Pacific)
- Team Heretics (EMEA)
- NRG (Americas)
- Titan Esports Club (China)
Group C is possibly the most uncertain group in Valorant's Esports World Cup 2025. While Team Heretics should be the favorites on paper following their international performances in 2024 and their second-place finish in the VCT 2025 EMEA League Stage 1, the European mix was quickly sent home from Toronto after back-to-back 0-2 defeats against Paper Rex and Wolves Esports.
The group also includes Rex Regum Qeon who, despite representing Pacific as the region's top seed in Toronto, were quickly eliminated after back-to-back defeats against Wolves Esports and Fnatic.
Meanwhile, the group is closed with the additions of NRG and Titan Esports Club, two rosters that have very limited international experience, with the exceptions of NRG's Ethan "Ethan" Cole and Sam "s0m" Oh and Titan Esports Club's Guo "Haodong" Haodong and Chen "TvirusLuke" Chen-ching.
Group D

Here are the teams that shape Valorant's Esports World Cup 2025 Group D:
- Fnatic (EMEA)
- Gen.G Esports (Pacific)
- EDward Gaming (China)
- 100 Thieves (Americas)
Last but definitely not least, Valorant's Esports World Cup 2025 Group D includes the current Champions title holders, EDward Gaming, the Valorant Masters Toronto grand finalists Fnatic, the Valorant Masters Madrid grand finalists and Valorant Masters Shanghai champions Gen.G Esports, and... 100 Thieves. Plainly, it's fair to say this is this edition's group of death.
All the eyes will probably be set on EDward Gaming after the Chinese performance in the VCT 2025 China Stage 1. Against all of the odds, the Valorant Champions 2024 missed out on the Valorant Masters Toronto after a fourth-place finish. However, the team qualified for the Esports World Cup 2025 after winning the Valorant China Evolution Series Act 2 x ACL.
The Chinese's first opponent in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will be Gen.G Esports. The Pacific roster comes after collecting a Top 6 finish at the Valorant Masters Toronto after a 1-2 defeat against G2 Esports.
Finally, 100 Thieves qualified for the Esports World Cup 2025 after a surprising qualifying run that included wins against FURIA Esports, NRG, Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, and MIBR.
