With April having just started and die-hard Rainbow Six Siege fans having already finished Operation Prep Phase's Battle Pass, players are already looking forward to what's to come in Rainbow Six Siege: Rainbow Six Siege X.

With the release of the upcoming season, Rainbow Six Siege will experience a transformation that will change the game for ever. Including features like an improved rappelling animation, weapon inspect, destructible ingredients, a 6v6 game mode called Dual Front, and many, many more, players will definitely feel a new, refreshed Rainbow Six Siege experience. However, not all the additions are to make a change, but also to thank the community.

As announced during the Rainbow Six Siege X Showcase celebrated in Atlanta, Georgia, Ubisoft will reward veteran players in Year 10 Season 2. But, how will this reward wave work and how can you claim the rewards? Well, keep on reading to answer all of these questions.

Unfortunately, not much information about the veteran skins has been released so far. However, we now that veteran rewards will be divided into tiers, each tier representing the year the player joined Rainbow Six Siege.

Keep in mind that these tiers are accumulative; this means that, if you joined in Year 2, you will be able to claim all of the rewards included on the list.

If we take into account what was revealed in the Rainbow Six Siege X Showcase, here's what each tier will include:

Year 1

Year 1 Reward

Logically, the Year 1 reward will be the most exclusive of them all: an exclusive Black Ice skin. We don't know if this skin will be universal.

Year 3

Year 3 Reward

The Year 3 reward will be a piece of headgear. Unfortunately, the operator that will be able to equip it hasn't been revealed yet.

Year 4

Year 4 Reward

The Year 4 reward will be a skin for Kali's CSRX 300 Rifle. We don't know if this skin will be universal.

Year 6

Year 6 Reward

The Year 6 reward will be a skin for the GONNE-6. We don't know if this skin will be universal.

Year 7

Year 7

The Year 7 reward will be a skin for Kapkan, Tachanka, and Azami's 919VSN Submachine Gun. We don't know if this skin will be universal.

If you're wondering why we haven't mentioned Year 9, Year 8, Year 5, and Year 2, that's because their respective rewards haven't been unveiled yet. However, considering what we could see in the Rainbow Six Siege Showcase, we expect these rewards to be operator bundles.

Veteran Badges

Veteran Badges

Operator and weapon skins won't be the only veteran rewards introduced in Rainbow Six Siege X. Additionally, Ubisoft will release Veteran Badges. These will display the year the player joined Rainbow Six Siege.

The most exclusive Veteran Badge will be 2015, which will be purple. Meanwhile, the second-rarest, 2016, will be golden. The rest, including all Veteran Badges between 2017 and 2024, will be silver.

Keep in mind that players will be able to claim these when Rainbow Six Siege X is released, on June 10, 2025. Until then, there's only one option to start getting the engine ready for Rainbow Six Siege X: the Siege X Pack.

For USD$39,99 players can purchase the Siege X Pack, which includes the following items:

  • Exclusive Ash Bundle to be released in Rainbow Six Siege X
  • Siege X Charm to be released in Rainbow Six Siege X
  • 556XI Rainbow Six Siege X weapon skin delivered at purchase
