With the addition of destructible ingredients, including fire extinguishers and gas pipes, new rappelling features, new audio and map overhauls, and even a 6v6 game mode called Dual Front, the game will suffer many changes.

For those unaware, weapon inspect is a feature that allows a player to have a complete look at any gun included in the game. Fans had been pleading and begging for years to have weapon inspect in Rainbow Six Siege, and the wish will finally come true in Rainbow Six Siege X.
Therefore, if you have an animated weapon skin, you will be able to weapon inspect your gun and check out every single detail included in the cosmetic. Before weapon inspect, the only way to do something similar was to reload the gun; the animation would show some parts of the weapon that are usually hidden. Another option to explore the skin was visualising it outside the server, in the inventory; however, it's not the same feeling.
While the addition of weapon inspect may initially feel quite irrelevant, giving players the option to better explore their favourite weapon skins could have a major impact in terms of sales and even skin development. The options and things to consider now are wider and, starting from Rainbow Six Siege X, future skins could include details that could only be revealed with weapon inspect.
