The victory came after two 13-6 wins on Split and Lotus, which were interrupted by a 9-13 defeat on Icebox. The highly-experienced and Team Liquid IGL Ayaz "nAts" Akhmetshin was the Blue Cavalry's best player with an ACS of 221 and 55 kills to his name.
With this result, Team Liquid is one win away against Fnatic or BBL Esports to qualify for the Valorant Masters Toronto. At the same time, Karmine Corp's defeat against Team Liquid means the European mix has finished in fourth place of Group Omega and will need a miraculous Lower Bracket run to qualify for the Valorant Masters Toronto.
Meanwhile, Team Heretics closed out today's action with a surprisingly one-sided 2-0 victory against Fnatic that included 13-10 and 13-5 wins on Lotus and Haven, respectively. Despite a great performance by the Fnatic rookie Kajetan "kaajak" Haremski, who ended with an ACS of 268, Los Niños ended up taking the win.
Team Heretic's favorable result meant the Spanish esports organization secured Group Alpha's top seed and are the only unbeaten team remaining in the VCT 2025 EMEA Stage 1.
