Team Falcons have qualified for the Siege X Esports World Cup 2025 after taking down MACKO Esports in the Europe and MENA League 2025 Stage 1 Lower Bracket Quarterfinals.
The Siege Esports World Cup 2024 winners have clinched a spot to compete in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, next month and will be able to defend their title under their new home Team Falcons. It will also be the roster's second international event with the green esports organization after a Top 8 finish in RE:L0:AD.
The team's victory against MACKO Esports wasn't convincing by any means. The European mix had to put blood, sweat, and tears in both games as the team collected back-to-back overtime wins on Clubhouse and Nighthaven Labs.
Team Falcons' best players were Fatih "Solotov" Türker and Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu, who finished the game with SiegeGG ratings of 1.38 and 1.32, respectively. With three clutches and a combined number of 61 kills, the team's fragging duo led the roster to a spot in the upcoming Siege X Esports World Cup.
With this result, Team Falcons haven't only secured their presence in Riyadh but also have claimed 50 SI Points and a spot in the Europe and MENA League 2025 Stage 1 Lower Bracket Semifinals. There, they will play against Virtus.pro for a chance to qualify for the Lower Bracket Finals, where Team Secret is already waiting for an opposition.
