South America League 2026 Stage 1 - Team of the Week 1

This is the best team for the first week of action in South America's top flight.

FaZe Clan Salt Lake City

The first week of the South America League 2026 Stage 1 is already over and four teams, including Team Liquid Alienware, FaZe Clan, FURIA, and Ninjas in Pyjamas have clearly been above the rest.

As expected, all of these four teams are represented in our Team of the Week 1 for the South America League 2026 Stage 1. Here's a look at the five chosen players and why they have made the team.

  • Entry: Jaime "Cyber" Ramos
  • Entry: Diego "Kheyze" Zanello
  • Flex: Gabriel "Hatez" Kobuszewski
  • Flex: Gabriel "Maia" Maia
  • Support: Gustavo "volpz" Fernandes

Jaime "Cyber" Ramos (FaZe Clan)

Cyber was without a doubt the best player of the week after averaging a SiegeGG rating of 1.56. The FaZe Clan player currently tops the K-D and entry stats, as ten of his 26 kills throughout FaZe Clan's games against Imperial Esports and Fluxo W7M were entries.

Logically, Cyber also averaged the highest KPR of the week (1.37). Surprisingly enough, he only averaged a KOST of 68; the highest in FaZe Clan.

Diego "Kheyze" Zanello (Team Liquid Alienware)

Kheyze showed great consistency in this very first week of the stage, including two solid displays against INTZ and Imperial Esports. The Brazilian's best performance came against the astronauts, against whom he averaged a SiegeGG rating of 1.56.

He was Team Liquid's player with the most contributions as he finished the week with a KOST of 85, only surpassed by three more players in the league. He also averaged a KPR of 1.00, the fourth-highest entry balance, and a decent K-D of 20-13 (+7).

Gabriel "Hatez" Kobuszewski (Ninjas in Pyjamas)

Hatez was Ninjas in Pyjamas' best player in both of the shinobi's games, including 7-5 and 7-0 wins against LOUD and Black Dragons, respectively. His best performance came against the latter, as he averaged a SiegeGG rating of 2.06 in the team's flawless victory against the dragons.

The Brazilian player averaged a SiegeGG rating of 1.54, only surpassed by Cyber's 1.56. He has the third-highest K-D, the third-highest KOST, the second-highest KPR, and an impressive survival of 47.

Gabriel "Maia" Maia (Team Liquid Alienware)

Maia is one of the most consistent players in the region and the start of this initial split is no exception. The Brazilian averaged the fourth-highest SiegeGG rating of the week (1.47), the second-highest K-D, and the third-highest KPR. While being so aggressive, he also averaged a survival of 55, which is the third-highest in the competition so far. On top of that, he averaged a KOST of 80.

Gustavo "volpz" Fernandes (FURIA)

FURIA's IGL volpz averaged the third-highest SiegeGG rating of the week (1.48) after maining Blackbeard and Smoke, making him a no brainer addition to this first Team of the Week for South America's 2026 Stage 1.

He also averaged the best KOST (90) alongside his teammate Lucas "Dias" Dias as well as a KPR of 1.00 and a survival of 45; all of this while leading the Black Panthers with his calls.
