When will players be able to ban Dokkaebi in Rainbow Six Siege answered

Dokkaebi is a bit annoying, isn't she?

Dokkaebi Operation System Override

It has been a week since Ubisoft released Operation System Override, Rainbow Six Siege's second season of Year 11. Overall, the season has been one of the best in recent times; the launch of a new map, Calypso Casino, combined with more positive operator balancing changes, the release of Ranked 3.0, and many more thrilling features, have got the community excited.

However, no season can't be perfect, and Operation System Override isn't an exception. So far, the community's main concern is how strong Dokkaebi is after Ubisoft remastered her.

Before Operation System Override, Dokkaebi was already a problem. Her Logic Bomb was a device that required close to no skill in order to get the most out of it. It just took a kill to get unlimited access to the enemies' cameras. She was one button away from calling every defender at once from any distance; not to mention her loadout, extremely versatile and aggressive, by far the best in the game.

Therefore, Ubisoft decided to remaster her in Operation System Override. First, it's worth mentioning that Ubisoft never specified if the change would be a nerf or a buff. Surprisingly enough, despite Dokkaebi's previous shape, Ubisoft elevated her in the game's meta; at least in high lobbies and competitive play. As a result, players in high lobbies desperately want to ban her. Unfortunately, that can't happen right now.

As in previous seasons, Ubisoft has made it so players can't ban the new map and Dokkaebi for the season's first two weeks. This idea is implemented so players have to adapt to the new map and operator, knowing more about them and also having the chance to provide Ubisoft with valuable feedback.

However, given Ubisoft's current position in Rainbow Six Siege, players can't wait any longer to ban the South Korean. If you're one of those souls who don't know when the time will come, here's the answer!

When will players be able to ban Dokkaebi in Rainbow Six Siege?

Rainbow Six Siege players will be able to ban Dokkaebi from their Ranked games in Rainbow Six Siege starting from June 16, 2026.

Ubisoft stops players from banning new or remastered operators during the first two weeks of the new season. As Operation System Override was launched on June 2, 2026, players won't be able to ban the South Korean operator until next Tuesday.

Dokkaebi's Jegeo Payload is causing a lot of trouble. Since her remake, not picking up Dokkaebi's call means your phone will blow up, causing the defender some damage. As a consequence, the defender also loses access to cameras and their device. Therefore, if you're a Maestro, Dokkaebi will likely target you to stop you from having access to your Evil Eyes. This is just an example of Dokkaebi's strength.

We expect a lot of Dokkaebi bans starting from June 16. Will you be one of those who ban her at the very beginning of a match, or will you try to adapt to the South Korean's attacks?
