Rainbow Six Siege X, the next era in the Siege franchise, has been revealed. Ubisoft unveiled a ton of new features and elements coming to the tactical shooter, and players won't have to wait that long to try them.
A closed beta for Siege X was also announced and if you want to participate in it, we have prepared a small guide on how to get access.
How to get access to the Rainbow Six Siege X closed beta
The only way to get access to the closed beta is through the Twitch Drops rewards. Here is exactly what you need to do if you aren't unfamiliar with this:
- Link your Ubisoft Connect account with your Twitch account here.
- Watch a Rainbow Six Siege stream on Twitch with drops enabled for 30 minutes.
- Once completed, Twitch will send you a notification, letting you know the drop is ready to be redeemed. Go to your Inventory page and hit redeem on the drop.

- After that, you will receive an email with a code that you have to redeem here and select the platform of your choice. If you haven't received an email and you are on PC, check the Ubisoft Connect app as you may already have access to download the beta from the library.
From there, you should have access to the closed beta to try the new game mode before its official launch on June 10th, 2025.
Closed beta content
The closed beta will give players access to the permanent new mode Dual Front, which you can find out everything about it here. In simple terms, this is a 6v6 mode where players need to complete a series of objectives before the enemy team to win.
This mode was one of the biggest announcements in the Siege X presentation along with other upgrades and additions coming to the main base Siege experience. We have prepared a summary with all the major announcements from the event here.
