Rainbow Six Siege fans... the Rengoku Event is back! From August 5 to August 26, the doors to the Rengoku Event will be open for all Rainbow Six Siege players. If you love the samurai aesthetic, this event is made for you!
The Rengoku Event is one of the most popular time-limited events in the game. It was first released in Rainbow Six Siege in April 2022. Since then, Ubisoft has released it four times, including this one.
In Rengoku, players can only use shotguns and kunai. Depending on the operator you choose, the kunai will act differently; there are all kinds of kunai! It's also worth mentioning that all Rengoku Event games take place in a special version of Skyscraper.
This is a very summarized explanation of what the Rengoku Event is. However, for more information, please, keep on reading!
How does Siege's Rengoku Event work
Rainbow Six Siege's Rengoku Event is a Control the Points game mode. The goal isn't necessarily killing all opponents; it's about taking control of the map.
The map, a customized version of Skyscraper, includes eight altars. Each time, three altars are active at once. Players can take control of altars, which gives them points. Every two minutes the active altars automatically shut down, making space for three different altars to be activated. The first team to reach 300 points wins.

Unlike standard Rainbow Six Siege matches with attackers and defenders, Rengoku is slightly different. These roles are erased, with attackers and defenders being known as The Devoted and The Possessed, respectively. All operators, regardless of their role, have 200 health, shotguns, explosive kunai, and the ability to climb hatches. Depending on the operator, they will also have access to either poison, flash, or pushback kunai.
Rengoku Event Collection
Rainbow Six Siege's Rengoku Event includes a collection of 33 items. This year's collection includes new bundles for Caveira, Gridlock, and Flores, as well as weapon skins for different Rainbow Six Siege operators.
If you unlock all of the items included in this year's Rengoku Event collection you will be able to unlock the Mythichal Memento Weapon Skin for Ying and Flores' T-95 LSW LMG. When triggering the gun's weapon inspection animation, a fish comes out of the light machinegun.
Rengoku Event Packs
Rengoku Event Packs can be purchased in Rainbow Six Siege's pack section. Each pack costs either 11,250 Renown or 12,500 Renown, depending on if you own a Premium Battle Pass or not. Players can also use R6 Credits to unlock Rengoku Event Packs, which cost either 270 or 300 R6 Credits.

It's worth noting that Ubisoft gives a free Rengoku Event Pack to all players in the game. Additionally, more Rengoku Event packs can be unlocked for free by playing the Rengoku Event and completing its Battle Pass challenges.
