Rainbow Six Siege's new game mode Wasteland Circuit to be released on September 23

Ubisoft is releasing a brand-new time-limited game mode to Rainbow Six Siege called Wasteland Circuit. If you're looking for a different approach to Rainbow Six Siege and the usual 5v5 experience, we believe you're going to have fun with this one.

Rainbow Six Siege's Wasteland Circuit is something completely different to anything else in the game. In Wasteland Circuit, players don't have to stop enemies from disabling the bomb. In fact, it's not about shooting guns: Wasteland Circuit is about drone racing.

Wasteland Circuit is a racing game mode where players race around a track with their drone. It's similar to Mario Kart; players find random items while racing which affect the rest of the drones. Some of the effects are Fenrir's smoke, Goyo and Tachanka's fire, Bandit and Kaid's electricity, and Mozzie's pests.

The Wasteland Circuit was first introduced during the reveal of Operation Split Fire, which took place right before the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026 grand final. The community was shocked by the idea of a drone racing event; however, it makes a lot of sense.

Wasteland Circuit will be released to Rainbow Six Siege on September 23 and it will be open until October 13. Although nothing has been revealed about the characteristics of the game mode, content creators such as Kudos have already posted videos about Wasteland Circuit.
