Rainbow Six Siege players can get selected Black Ice variants through Alpha Packs for a limited time

Black Ice variants were introduced to Rainbow Six Siege in Operation Silent Hunt. As expected, since these were announced during the Year 11 reveal, fans have gone crazy about them. After all, we're talking of a variant class of the most iconic weapon skin in Rainbow Six Siege.

Unfortunately, getting your hands on Black Ice variants is tough as these can only be obtained by opening Black Ice Packs. These can only be obtained by purchasing and completing a Premium Battle Pass—which costs around USD$10.

In past months, Ubisoft have given players other ways to obtain Black Ice variants. Some players were lucky enough to get extra Black Ice Packs for watching Jynxzi's 2v2 Rainbow Six Siege tournament. Later, Rainbow Six Siege gave players the chance to get selected Black Ice variants from Alpha Packs. Now, Ubisoft have brought brack this method.

From September 22 to October 13, players can get selected Black Ice variants in Alpha Packs. The announced Black Ice variants include:

• Buck's C8-SFW (Purple)
• Hibana's Type-89 (Green)
• IQ and Amaru's G8A1 (Green)
• Kapkan's GSh-18 (Green)

Although there are no pink or red Black Ice variants on the list, players can still get a red Black Ice for the 5.7 USG for free to celebrate Ubisoft's 40th anniversary. If you're a fan, you should claim the reward now that you still have got a chance!

It's also worth noting that Ubisoft recently released a Rainbow Black Ice collection for selected skins. However, Ubisoft had to temporarily remove it from the store due to some issues related to the bundle's description and type.
