Operation Split Fire Patch Notes Addendum

Here's a look at the bugs that will be corrected today.

Patch Notes

Operation Split Fire will be released today, September 1, 2026, at 3 PM CEST. To help Rainbow Six Siege players understand how this will affect their in-game experience, Ubisoft released the Operation Split Fire Patch Notes Addendum.

Here are the bug fixes that Ubisoft will deploy in Year 11 Season 3, according to their most recent blog post:

BUG FIXES

GAMEPLAY

Fixed – AI training bots will try to break Azami's Kiba Barriers instead of navigating around them.

Fixed – AI training bots do not spawn in the Yacht map of the Clear House playlist.

Fixed – AI training bots rappel slowly.

Fixed – Players cannot aim down sights using the iron sights on the Bearing 9 or Super Shorty.

Fixed – Several tutorial objectives in the Shooting Range cannot be completed.

OPERATORS

Fixed – The extend and retract animations of Montagne's Le Roc Shield are not smooth.

Fixed – Pulse's Cardiac Sensor does not display detected enemies.

USER EXPERIENCE

Fixed – Players cannot change the match settings if they become Squad Leader while in the Essentials tab of Playlists.

Fixed – If players pick the same Operators in 3v3 Arcade, the game crashes when a match finishes.

Fixed – Operator Guide images do not load when navigating using the keyboard arrows.

Fixed – Horizontal grips are unavailable when customizing guns.

AUDIO

Fixed – If players disable voice chat while in the main menu, their voice chat is still active when they start a match.

Operation Split Fire is introducing Noor to the game. The Egyptian defender will be the first operator that's focused on countering shield attackers.

Ubisoft is also introducing the Legends Division as well as minimal tweaks to Villa's basement. Moreover, Ubisoft will release operator balancing changes that will affect various operators in the game.
