Playing Marvel Rivals ranked is intimidating and exciting, much like other shooters of this genre. Reaching a new rank can lead to great rewards while going down a tier can make players stop playing the game altogether. To many, it’s the main reason to play online shooters and newer players want to know why they should try their hand at it.

A lot of players get intimidated by ranked play, since leveling down after a tough game is demoralizing. The sense of accomplishment players get when winning and ranking up is worth the risk.

Now that Rivals is at its hottest, here’s what players need to know about ranked play.

How to unlock Ranked

If you want to unlock Marvel Rivals ranked play, players have to reach Level 10. This shouldn’t be too hard, as gamers simply have to keep playing the game until they reach that level.

One benefit from this is that players will get various rewards from leveling up, which should make players happy. This is small things like currency and other cosmetics, but it’s enough for those who always want to earn something.

Ranks

These are the ranked levels of Marvel Rivals from lowest to highest:

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Grandmaster
  • Eternity
  • One Above All

Each rank from Bronze to Grandmaster has tiers for players to go through before leveling up, and every tier has 100 points.

Rewards

At the time of writing, players can only unlock a skin for one character and some crests as rewards for playing Marvel Rivals ranked. While the skin is great, these crests are mostly for bragging rights so players who don’t want to get the highest spot won’t be pressured to.

Players who reach Gold ranking will receive the Golden Moonlight costume for Moon Knight. Anyone who reaches Grand Master will get a Silver Crest of Honor. Those who want to prove their mettle will get a Gold Crest of Honor if they reach the top 500.

We don’t know yet if these rewards will be changed per Season, though we wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case. After all, this is a live-service game, so ever-changing rewards is something everyone expects.

That’s everything we know about Marvel Rivals ranked play. Fans can also read about the game’s Battle Passes, which don’t expire. You can also check out our tier list for the shooter.
