Marvel Rivals Season 3 is here, and players are already climbing the ranks with the new hero Phoenix and the addition of the new Klyntar Domination map. After the seasonal reset, it’s time to get back on the competitive grind and aim for your target rank.
A new season also means a new competitive reward for those looking to unlock fresh cosmetics. Here’s a quick guide on how to get the Emerald Flames Phoenix skin in Marvel Rivals Season 3:
How to get the Emerald Flames Phoenix skin
As with all competitive rewards in Marvel Rivals, reaching Gold rank is required to earn the Emerald Flames Phoenix skin. It doesn’t matter if you drop back down to Silver III afterward, once you hit Gold, you’ll be eligible to claim the reward at the end of the season.

Reaching Gold Rank is a must.
The Emerald Flames skin is a recolor of Jean Grey’s (Phoenix’s) default look. Instead of the usual black and green color scheme, her armor is now covered in a vibrant emerald tone. It’s a great alternative if you haven’t picked up her premium skin yet or just want something new to look at while playing her.
Phoenix Nameplate Rewards
Season 3 also brings new competitive rewards beyond just the Emerald Flames skin. Two Phoenix-themed nameplates are up for grabs this time.
To earn the Phoenix Feathers epic nameplate, you’ll need to reach Platinum rank before the season ends.

New Nameplate rewards.
For the Phoenix Force animated nameplate, you’ll have to make it all the way to Diamond. It’s a tough grind, but this is Marvel Rivals’ first animated nameplate, and it likely won’t be the last.
Keep in mind that players must complete at least 10 competitive matches to be eligible for rewards. If you don’t hit that minimum, even if you’ve reached Gold or Diamond, you won’t receive anything when the season wraps up.
