M80 qualify for Rainbow Six Siege's Esports World Cup 2026

M80 have qualified for Rainbow Six Siege's Esports World Cup 2026 after a one-sided 2-0 victory against 100 Thieves. The series included 7-4 and 7-3 wins on Nighthaven Labs and Bank.

With a SiegeGG rating of 1.16, M80's Ayden "dfuzr" Gabari was the best player of the game. Whilst he led his team in terms of stats, all of the players in the American roster scored positive ratings. It's also worth mentioning that M80's former IGL Matthew "Hotancold" Stevens was the best player in 100 Thieves with a SiegeGG rating of 1.15.

Surprisingly enough, this is the first time M80 qualify for the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup after missing out on the editions played in 2024 and 2025. The closest thing to the Esports World Cup for M80 was their appearance at the Gamers8 2023 where the American team finished in second place following a 0-3 defeat in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, against Team BDS.

Meanwhile, 100 Thieves' defeat against M80 means the thieves will have another chance to qualify for the Esports World Cup 2026 tomorrow. To be in Paris, the American team will have to beat Shopify Rebellion in the Lower Bracket.
