Rainbow Six Siege's Doktor's Curse is back! From the 15th of October to November 1st, players will be able to play Rainbow Six Siege's most spooky game mode.
Doktor's Curse takes place in a spooky version of Clubhouse. In this game mode there are now attackers or defenders; instead, we have Hunters and Monsters. The game mode follows a Hide and Seek format where the Hunters logically go after the Monsters. The Hunters (attackers) win the round if they end up killing all the Monsters. It's pretty easy to understand, right?
Well, although Doktor's Curse is always a fun game mode to play, the truth is that not all players give it a chance. However, there's something that's always praised by both those who enjoy the game mode and those who ignore it... and that's Doktor's Curse's skins.

This year, the jewel of the crown is the Doktor's Curse Moonlit memento weapon skin. Just like most recent memento weapon skins, the Moonlit skin is a Mythical gun cosmetic that comes with a unique weapon inspection animation. When players trigger it they can see some type of plasma monster bitting the gun. In the end, the monster gives up on the weapon.
It combines silver and light blue shapes, making it a unique gun skin. In case you're wondering, the Moonlit skin isn't universal and it can only be used on Smoke, Mute, and Warden's M590A1 shotgun.
Mythical weapon skins are highly praised by all players in Rainbow Six Siege. Unfortunately, getting your hands on these is pretty difficult... and expensive.
To unlock Rainbow Six Siege's Doktor's Curse's memento weapon skin, also known as the Moonlit Mythical memento weapon skin, players can either pay 4,100 R6 Credits for the Moonlit Bundle or complete the Doktor's Curse cosmetic collection.
The Moonlit Bundle includes the Moonlit weapon skin for Smoke, Mute, and Warden's M590A1 shotgun as well as five Doktor's Curse Event Packs and it costs 4,100 R6 Credits for non-Premium Battle Pass owners / 3,690 for Premium Battle Pass owners.
Meanwhile, the Doktor's Curse collection includes 33 items. Considering players can get one for free and a couple through weekly challenges, players must buy the other 30 items in the collection. As each pack is 300 / 270 R6 Credits, the final price is 9,000 / 8,100 R6 Credits to unlock the whole Doktor's Curse collection. That's the equivalent of USD$55 - USD$60.
Purchasing these bundles is always expensive, which makes the skin really unique and hard to obtain. In other words, Mythical skins, especially those in time-limited events, are exclusive. You must decide if investing in these skins is a good idea or if it's not.
