FURIA Esports have qualified for the Siege X Esports World Cup 2025 after back-to-back 7-5 wins on Skyscraper and Border against w7m esports.

The Black Panthers headed to the playoffs after an inconsistent group stage performance, with a record made of three regulation wins, three overtime wins, and three regulation defeats. Meanwhile, the Bulls had topped the standings with 21 points after seven victories and only two defeats.

Despite the team's previous performances, the truth is that FURIA Esports always do better in BO3s. In fact, the Brazilians had taken down the Bulls in the quarterfinals of RE:L0:AD. It's also worth mentioning that FURIA Esports also won their group stage clash, which was an 8-6 win on Clubhouse.

The best players of the match were FURIA Esports' Gustavo "HerdsZ" Herdina and João "Jv92" Vitor, who finished the series with SiegeGG ratings of 1.15 and 1.11. Surprisingly, HerdsZ, despite registering 22 kills, the Brazilian kept an 82 headshot percentage. In other words, around 18 of his kills were headshots.

With this result, FURIA Esports have clinched a spot to compete in the South America League 2025 Stage 1 Upper Bracket Finals. This also means that FURIA Esports will represent the region in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at the Siege X Esports World Cup 2025. Additionally, the team have already secured 50 SI Points.

Next week, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Liquid, w7m esports, and Black Dragons will play for the final two spots to represent the region in Riyadh next month.
