The third day of the Europe and MENA League 2026 Stage 1 will go down the history books as a day full of brilliant individual displays. We have had a look at the day's five matches and put together the best performances:
Karl "Alem4o" Zarth - 1.53 vs. Shifters
Throughout last season, we got used to see G2 Esports relying on Rookie of the Year 10 Zack "Stompn" Lamb. Then, Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu stole the show as soon as he landed in the team. Logically, other players like Jack "Doki" Robertson and Benjamin "Benjamaster" Dereli have had their opportunities to shine too; G2 Esports' overall individual quality can't be questioned.
However, G2 Esports' system pushes Alem4o back. The Brazilian IGL, the team's caller and shield main, rarely has the chance to outperform his teammates anymore. From time to time, though, the Brazilian reminds us he still has it in him.
Against Shifters, Alem4o took over the match with a SiegeGG rating of 1.53. He was the only G2 Esports player with a positive rating alongside his furry teammate Benjamaster, who scored a SiegeGG rating of 1.27. The rest of G2 players scored ratings of 0.68 and below.
Both Alem4o and Benjamaster went feral. The Brazilian secured 17 kills for the samurai, one less than the tally that Shaiiko, Doki, and Stompn put together (18). For a better understanding of how exceptional is seeing Alem4o securing as many kills, the Six Mexico Major champion had got a combined amount of nine kills across G2 Esports' games against Geekay Esports and Team Heretics.
The Brazilian even clutched one round after planting and protecting the defuser for the whole post plant. At the end of the round, he ended up showing his greediness and secured another kill for himself.
Jimmy "DEADSHT" Vojtasik - 1.86 vs. Team Heretics
Before the match started, the EML broadcast focused on Ben "CTZN" McMillan's numbers. Although the British player ended up producing a SiegeGG rating of 1.29 he was clearly surpassed by his teammate DEADSHT, who secured a SiegeGG rating of 1.86 after finishing the game with a K-D of 20-7 (+13) and a KPR of 1.67.
The Swiss player had an absurd match and he stole the show during Fnatic's defensive half. The very first round saw DEADSHT securing an Ace when the round looked extremely favorable for Team Heretics. Then, the Swiss added five more kills to his tally throughout the next two rounds. In Round 11, he added another three.
Fnatic's victory against Team Heretic means the orange roster currently has six points after victories against Geekay Esports and Team Heretics. Later today, they will play against Shifters in a match that could drastically elevate their chances of making the Top 6 and reaching the playoffs.
Fayez "JlaDD" Jallad and Osama "Tr1ixd" Zahrani - 1.55 and 1.51 vs. Rebels Gaming
JlaDD and Tr1ixd were Twisted Minds' best players with SiegeGG ratings of 1.55 and 1.51 against Rebels Gaming. Although the Saudi player finished below the player from Jordan, he was the only member in the team to finish the match with a perfect KOST.
Both players planted the defuser once and also reached double digits in terms of kills, as JlaDD and Tr1ixd got 13 and 10 kills, respectively. This victory temporarily places them in fourth place with six points, tied with Fnatic, who are in fifth. They are only one point behind G2 Esports and Team Falcons, who share the second place with seven points each.
Pavel "p4sh4" Kosenko and Evan "Yoggah" Nelson - 1.54 and 1.65 in Virtus.pro vs. Geekay Esports
It wouldn't have been fair to speak about p4sh4's performance against Geekay Esports without also mentioning Evan "Yoggah" Nelson's display against the Bears.
The Russian had an almost perfect match against Geekay Esports, averaging a rock-solid SiegeGG rating of 1.54 and a KOST of 100. He also contributed with an entry balance of 2-0 (+2) and two plants. Despite his performance, the final difference between the two teams came from the hands of Nikita "RORICK" Kruchinkin, who clutched two rounds.
Meanwhile, the American averaged a SiegeGG rating of 1.65 in his third match in the Europe and MENA League. He was Geekay Esports' only player with positive numbers, as he also scored a KOST of 81 and a K-D of 17-7 (+10).
Loïc "BriD" Chongthep - 1.65 vs. Team Secret
The Frenchman was Team Falcons' best player against Team Secret with a SiegeGG rating of 1.65 after securing the highest K-D in the team, a 12-3 (+9). As in previous matches, Team Falcons' fragging duo Marc "jume" Steinmann and Fatih "Solotov" Türker averaged the two of the three lowest ratings in the team (1.17 and 1.23, respectively) but that's already way better than their beginning to the stage, where they had very negative numbers.
Although he didn't lead Team Falcons this time, Josh "Yuzus" Pritchard's 1.38 against Team Secret keeps him on top of the individual standings with an overall SiegeGG rating of 1.47.
