Want to know who won the Destiny 2 The Desert Perpetual raid race? Let's find out.

The raid races are a unique event within the Destiny 2 community. Thousands of viewers across Twitch and YouTube gather to see the most sweaty fireteams try to take a crack at a new raid with Contest Mode active, making it harder than the regular version of the raid.

If you're a viewer, Twitch Drops are up for grabs so there's incentive to tune in for a bit.

The Desert Perpetual launched with little hype, but as hours passed, it turned out to be one of the longest raid races in Destiny 2 history. So who won?

Who won The Desert Perpetual Destiny 2 raid race?

Snazzy and Team Nuts have won the raid race. It was a tight one filled with many DPS checks, but they were the first squad to complete it.

It's time for a raid race

The previous team to win a raid race was Parabellum, taking home the iconic Salvation's Edge raid race, which came out with The Final Shape expansion, and led into the DLC's final campaign mission.

Another favorite to win the race was Saltagreppo's squad, Clan Elysium, who have won a whopping four raid race belts, including the revamped Crota's End, Vow of the Disciple, Vault of Glass, and King's Fall. Sadly, they didn't make it.

The Desert Perpetual was one of the longest raid races in Destiny history, cracking the top 3 alongside Last Wish and Salvation's Edge.

Now that the raid has ended, we'll have guides on each encounter in the coming days. In the meantime, check out some of our Destiny 2 The Edge of Fate guide, including quest walkthroughs for Vessel of the Nine, Dark Academia, and Orientation.

Fans were hopeful that at the end of the raid race, new content would be added to the game for all players, as it's been the case before, but that didn't come to pass, unfortunately.
