Are you looking for information about Destiny 2: Renegades? While Bungie is focused almost entirely on The Edge of Fate, the second expansion of 2025 has a ton in store for fans.
During The Edge of Fate stream reveal, Bungie gave several glimpses about what was coming following the start of the Fate Saga in Destiny 2. The developers are now delivering two expansions per year, smaller in size than their previous single DLC per year model, but will allow them more flexibility when it comes to delivering consistent content drops.
Some of the information we know about Renegades has piqued the interest of fans. So, without further ado, let's break down all about Destiny 2: Renegades expansion.
Destiny 2: Renegades release date and platforms
The Destiny 2: Renegades expansion will launch on December 2. Contrary to rumors, last-gen console support will not be dropped, and similar to The Edge of Fate, it will be available on the following platforms:
- Xbox One
- Xbox Series
- PlayStation 4
- PlayStation 5
- PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store)
Destiny 2: Renegades roadmap
Bungie has shared a detailed roadmap of Renegades. Take a look at it down below:
For Renegades, expect the following:
- Season named Lawless, two rewards passes
- Shadow and Order major update, scheduled for release on March 3
- New dungeon
It's worth noting that starting with The Edge of Fate, all seasonal content will be free for all players who own the latest active expansion. No more dungeon keys or paying for seasonal content separately from expansions like before.
Destiny 2: Renegades Star Wars content
The biggest reveal for Renegades is that it will be a Star Wars-themed season. That's right, similar to Fortnite with Chapter 6 Season 3, Guardians will crossover from a galaxy, far, far, away.
Some of the weapons spotted included the iconic DL-44 blaster and, of course, lightsabers.
Furthermore, players can already acquire armor ornaments for Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters inspired by Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, and General Grievous respectively.
Destiny 2: Renegades pre-order
At the moment, there are no ways to pre-order the single expansion. However, you can purchase bundles that include both The Edge of Fate and Renegades.
