In recent years, Activision has promoted its new Call of Duty titles through Call of Duty NEXT, an in-person event where creators are invited to test out the new game and livestream it on their platforms.
Leaker TheGhostOfHope stated on X (formerly Twitter) that this year's COD NEXT event will take place sometime in September. Although a specific date wasn't provided, the event is set to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A.

Compared to last year, this is a late date for the event, as the 2024 edition took place in August. However, this is not uncalled for, as the 2023 edition happened in October and the 2022 edition in September.
The event will not only give us our first look at Black Ops 7 multiplayer gameplay, but also at Zombies and Warzone gameplay.
The leaker also revealed that the beta will follow, indicating that players will be able to try out the multiplayer the weekend after the event takes place.
Players won't have to wait that long to see more about the new title, as the game will make an appearance during Gamescom's Opening Night Live presentation on August 19th. However, the announcements for this event will most likely be focused on the campaign and the story.
