Apex Legends can now rock any of the universal melee weapons, regardless of the legend they're using, and the Grand Slam Bat is joining the pool of options. As the name suggests, this is a technological bat that has some fire VFXs when equipped.

How to unlock the Grand Slam Bat in Apex Legends
To unlock the Grand Slam Bat in Apex Legends, players have two ways, but one of them is time-limited. Here are the methods:
Through event packs
The Grand Slam Bat will be part of the Galactic Games event rewards, meaning players can obtain it through the event's pacls.
Each event pack gives three rewards, with one guaranteed to be a cosmetic from the event, while the other two are standard cosmetics. The Grand Slam Bat is part of the event's cosmetics, meaning it can be obtained when opening a pack. You won't get duplicates when opening packs, meaning the more you open, the higher your chances are of getting the universal melee.
Players will receive one event pack once the Galactic Games event kicks off, and if you want to get more, you can get packs by completing weekly challenges or purchasing them through the in-game store.
You will have three weeks to get the melee weapon through this method, as the Galactic Games event is set to run from August 19 to September 9. If you're reading this after said date, move on to the second method.
Through the Heirloom shop
The second way to obtain the Grand Slam Bat is by purchasing it through the Heirloom shop. After the event is over, the mythic weapon will only be available through the special shop, and players will need to have enough Mythic shards to acquire it.
