Now that we are about a week away from the start of Season 3 for Black Ops 6 and Warzone, Activision released a new episode of the Call of Duty podcast to confirm several things coming to both games with this new season.

For starters, Season 3 will now launch on Wednesday, April 2, one day earlier than previously announced after the two-week delay. However, this only applies to Black Ops 6, as Warzone will go into a 24-hour downtime on that same day.

During this downtime, any player who does not own Black Ops 6 will be able to enjoy the game for free. On top of that, anyone who opens the Warzone menu will receive the Kilo 141, one of the new Season 3 weapons, completely free.

Season 3 for Warzone will begin as previously announced, on Thursday, April 3rd at 9:00 AM PT (5:00 PM UTC).

Among the different details discussed in the podcast, the developers explained that Verdansk will feature a unique movement that is different from the one enabled in other maps. This movement will still feature omnimovement but it has been fine-tuned to get "closer to the original experience."
