Although the first teaser was released during this year's Xbox Games Showcase, a release date hasn't been announced for Black Ops 7, the next title in the Call of Duty franchise.
However, leaker TheGhostOfHope has revealed on X (formerly Twitter) a possible release date for the game: November 14th, 2025.
The leaker did specify on their post that this is a rumor, meaning it's still subject to change.
Regardless, this date is on the late side, as Call of Duty games tend to release at the end of October/beginning of November. That makes us believe the game didn't have as much development time as its predecessor, or Microsoft/Xbox is making space for The Outer Worlds 2, as the major title is set to be released on October 29th.
The game's release date will most likely be announced at Gamescom's Opening Night Live show on August 19, as the title will be officially revealed during the presentation.
This rumor comes only a day after the date for this year's Call of Duty NEXT leaked. The annual event is set to give us our first look at Multiplayer and Zombies gameplay, before players are able to try the former through the open beta.
