To promote Verdansk's return in Season 3 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone, Activision released a new b-roll video to give us a first in-game look at this new version of the iconic map.
As explained in the video, Verdansk was rebuilt from the ground up and retains the same layout the original map had. However, the map will feature improved textures, lighting, and more to make it look more appealing for those first-timers.
In a deleted clip from Call of Duty's social media accounts, the developers also mentioned that new cover objects has been added to certain areas of the map to allow for a better rotation between POIs.
Beenox, Raven Software, and High Noon Studios were all in charge of the development of this "new" version of the first Warzone map.
