The North America League team Oxygen Esports have parted ways with Franklyn "VrtcL" Cordero. This follows a fourth place at the Six Invitational 2023 last month.
VertcL's early weeks of the 2022 season were excellent, as he was the best player in the North American League Stage 1 with a SiegeGG Rating of 1.41.
However, his performances worsened later, especially at the Charlotte Major and in Stage 2, where he got Ratings of 1.00 and 0.92, respectively.
His statistics kept declining throughout the year, hitting the bottom at the Six Berlin Major, where he was the fifth-worst player in the competition with a SiegeGG Rating of 0.73. A few months later, VertcL finished the third stage of the North American League with a rating of 0.89.
Finally, at the Six Invitational 2023, VertcL was close to reaching his first positive SiegeGG Rating since the Charlotte Major. However, he ended up with a SiegeGG Rating of 0.98 and a KOST of 64%.
VertcL's career is one of the longest in North America and he has represented many organizations including mousesports, Rogue, Team Reciprocity, and Oxygen Esports. Now, his next steps in the scene are still unknown.
