The Black Ops 7 Tedd operator has been altered after the recent backlash

Tedd looks different now

Black Ops 7 new Tedd operator design

After recent controversies regarding the authenticity of cosmetics in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, Activision acknowledged these concerns and promised changes, with the first one being around the Carry Forward feature.

Now, following on this promise, Treyarch revealed that they have made changes to the Tedd operator, which is part of the Vault Edition bonuses for Black Ops 7. The studio posted the following video on X (formerly Twitter), where we can see the new version in action:

As you can see, the operator now resembles his Black Ops 2 counterpart, where the character was originally introduced as the trusty bus driver in the Zombies map Tranzit.

We still don't know if the character will appear in the upcoming Tranzit remaster, but if that's the case, we wouldn't be surprised if his look on the map also reflects the operator's new design.

For those who are wondering, here is the previous design for the Tedd operator as a comparison:

The post also indicates that they will be making some changes to the other Vault Edition operators, so we can expect more announcements soon.
