The dates for the multiplayer open beta of Battlefield 6 have been announced, and a special early access period will be available during its first weekend. Although the beta will become available to everyone after two days, there are probably some of you who are impatient and don't want to wait.

To help anyone out, we have prepared a guide explaining how to play during this early access period.

How to get early access to the Battlefield 6 beta

The only way to receive early access to the Battlefield 6 beta is by getting a code through the Twitch Drops campaign currently live.

Anyone who tunes in to any of the livestreams of the creators in the multiplayer reveal event and watches for 60 minutes will receive a code. After achieving the required watch time, a notification will appear on your messages with the code.

Once you have the code, here is what you need to do:

  • Head over to the official Battlefield 6 redeem website.
  • Log in with your EA account.
  • Redeem the code you received on Twitch.
  • If you haven't, make sure to link your EA account with your Xbox, PlayStation, or Steam account, depending on which platform you plan to play the beta.

As of now, pre-ordering any of the game's editions won't grant an early access code, so this is the only way. If another method becomes available once we are close to the first weekend, we will update this article to add the respective information.

Battlefield 6 beta dates

In case you are a bit lost, there will be two beta periods, each taking place during a weekend. Here are the dates:

Given that there are no exclusivity deals, the beta will be available on all platforms (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam) at the same time. It's unclear at the moment if crossplay will be active during any of these weekends.
