Patch 11.02 has arrived, migrating the current build of Valorant to the Unreal Engine 5. Although all the attention has gone to the migration, Riot has also announced a brand new bundle for the shop called SplashX.
This is a summer skinline, featuring weapons inspired by water guns, and a few other elements that fit the current climate in the northern hemisphere. We have all the details about the new cosmetics, so you can prepare for their arrival.
When does the Valorant SplashX bundle release?
The SplashX bundle is set to hit the Valorant shop on Thursday, July 31st, or Friday, August 1st, two days after patch 11.02 arrives in your region. The bundle will remain in the store for at least two weeks before rotating out to make way for other cosmetics.
SplashX trailer
Here is the official trailer for this upcoming bundle, so you can get a tease of the skins in-game:
SplashX skins and cosmetics
Unlike other bundles, SplashX will only have three weapon skins. Here are the weapons along with the bundle's official cover art so you can get a good look at each one:

- Operator
- Vandal
- Melee
The skin will have a water gun aesthetic, with blue and orange being the main colors. The melee weapon will be a pair of boxing gloves, but the glove part will be replaced by bubbles of water, as seen in the trailer.
The skins will have a special VFX animation after eliminating an enemy, where water will splash out of the victim's body, as well as a finisher for doing the final kill in a round. The finisher will display a giant balloon full of water, bouncing up and down, which can be popped by shooting at it.
There will be two color variants for the skin, a purple one and a green one, which can be briefly seen in the trailer when the player reloads the Operator.
Apart from the skins, the bundle will include a GunBuddy of a shark hanging by a thread made of water and a Flex of a shark.
SplashX price
Given the content included, we expect this bundle to cost between 6000 and 7000 VP once it hits the store. Each element can also be acquired separately, making it more accessible for those who can't afford the full price.
