Patch 11.02 will be the first Valorant update since the release of Season 2025 Act 4, with Riot skipping version 11.01 due to the developers taking their annual summer holiday.
This won't be a normal patch, meaning players will have to worry about a bigger download this time. We have gathered all the details about this significant update so you can prepare accordingly.
When does patch 11.02 of Valorant come out?
Patch 11.02 of Valorant is scheduled to come out on Tuesday, July 29th, or Wednesday, July 30th, depending on the region you currently play on.
The patch rollout will start at 6:00 AM PT for North America, LATAM, and Brazil servers. On the other hand, European players will have to wait until Wednesday at 4:00 AM BST for the rollout to begin.
What can we expect from the update?
This update will have a significantly larger download size than previous ones, simply because it will upgrade the game's current engine to Unreal Engine 5, substituting the old files.

Riot has warned that all players will need to have at least 30 GB of free space in the storage drive. However, once the files have been downloaded, the game's install size will be smaller compared to the current one.
Valorant's tech lead, Marcus Reid, stated that old systems might see a small improvement in FPS performance once the new update is out.
Given that patch 11.01 was skipped, we also expect a few gameplay changes and tweaks. Agent changes and map adjustments are not off the table.
A big number of quality-of-life additions could arrive this time, to take advantage of the new engine. Bug fixes are always present in every new version, and 11.02 shouldn't be the exception.
Once the patch goes live and Riot publishes the notes on the game's official website, we will update this article to add all the information about the changes.
